Cycling Cruise in Hungary & Serbia

Enjoy the highlights of the Slovakian, Hungarian and Serbian Danube on your tour from Vienna to the Iron Gate. Day 1 Arrival Vienna-Nussdorf, boat trip or cycle tour
Embarkation at 2.30 p.m. and boat trip to Bratislava. Or a 67 km/42 mi cycle tour through the Danube-Auen National Park (check-in 11.00 a.m., please specify when booking). Night cruise.

Day 2 Budapest, 22-56 km/14-35 mi
Explore the Hungarian capital on your own or book one of the excursions on board. Alternatively, you can cycle to the artists' town of Szentendre. Night cruise.

Day 3 Kalocsa - Baja, 55 km/34 mi
From the episcopal town of Kalocsa, whose bishop's palace houses the most important Hungarian library, you cycle along the car-free European cycle path through the Puszta. Today's destination is Baja. Night cruise.

Day 4 Belgrade, 35 km/22 mi
In the morning you can explore the city individually or on a bus tour, followed by a cycle tour on the Sava cycle path in the afternoon. Night cruise.

Day 5 Iron Gate - Cruise
In the morning, we'll travel by boat through the Iron Gate. Continue to Golubac and visit one of the most important medieval fortresses on the Danube.

Day 6 Mohács - Baja, 36 km/22 mi
Cycle along the Danube from Mohács, famous for its magnificent carnival, to the baroque town of Baja. Night ride.

Day 7 Esztergom - Komárno, 56 km/35 mi
After visiting the cathedral, you will cycle along the Danube on the Slovakian side. There are beautiful sandy beaches and swimming spots along the way. Night ride.

Day 8 Vienna and departure
Your trip "Cycling Cruise in Hungary & Serbia" ends around 10:30 a.m. in Vienna-Nussdorf.

Rental bicycles:

• We offer comfortable unisex-bikes with 7-speed gearboxes and coaster brakes or 21-gears and freewheel systems, equipped with a bike bag and a bike lock. We also offer e-bikes if desired.
• If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.

The booking process

Arrival to "Cycling Cruise in Hungary & Serbia":

• Parking in Vienna:Park & Ride:
  unguarded, at Donaustadtbrücke underground station (line U2), approx. 30 €/week

• Arrival in Passau via train:
  Vienna Central Station

• Arrival at Vienna airport:
  By train to the city centre with S7 or RJX, duration approx. 15-20 min., approx. 4, 60 €

• Embarkation from 2:30 p.m., luggage can be deposited from 11:00 a.m.

• Please let us know when booking if you would like to cycle on the 1st day of your trip. Luggage drop-off and bike hire at 11:00 a.m.on the ship.

Personal bikes:
You can always take your own bike with you. Please note, however, that your bike will be loaded twice a day with many others on and off the ship and damage can not be ruled out. A liability for this can not be assumed. We advise you to book one of the good rental bikes.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
